What is CampusMBA?

CampusMBA is the educational department of the Mortgage Bankers Association. CampusMBA offers a comprehensive residential and commercial real estate finance curriculum. CampusMBA offers students a distance-learning curriculum of web-based, print-based, audio-based and video-based courses, and live classroom-based programs and seminars, including the School of Mortgage Banking.

Our goal is to build an educational community that offers convenient, affordable training and reference materials for real estate finance professionals. Many of our courses are approved for state continuing education requirements, have college credit recommendations, and apply toward CampusMBA professional designations like the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB).

When I enter my username and password, I receive an error message about enabling cookies. How do I enable cookies and access my course?

The instructions will depend on your browser. The directions below are for Internet Explorer.

1. Go to the Tools Menu.

2. Select Internet Options.

3. Click on the Privacy tab.

4. If applicable:

Be sure the "Override automatic cookie handling" and "Always allow session cookies" are checked. Be sure "Accept" is selected for both 1st and 3rd party cookies.

If applicable:

Slide the slide in the "Settings" area down to "Low", then click "OK".

My login says, "Welcome Guest." How do I become a member of CampusMBA?

To become a member of CampusMBA you either: (1) must be employed with an MBA member company, or (2) have purchased a qualifying education product.

How can I retrieve my user id and password?

If you have not purchased a qualifying education product, but are employed with a member company, contact CampusMBA at (800) 348-8653 (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. ET). If you recently purchased a qualifying education product, you will receive an e-mail within 48 hours notifying you about your unique user information.

What if I don’t have an e-mail address?

The primary way CampusMBA communicates with our customers is through e-mail. If you have an e-mail address but we do not know what it is, call CampusMBA at (800) 348-8653 and inform us of your new information. At this time we will email you your username and password to gain access into CampusMBA.

What is a qualifying education product?

Any one of the following is considered a qualifying education product:

  • Print-Based Courses
  • Web-Based Courses
  • Live Online Workshops
  • Audio CDs
  • CD-ROM Courses
  • School of Mortgage Banking
  • Any Other Classroom-Based Course

I purchased a distance learning product but my company is not a member of the MBA. How long do I have access to CampusMBA?

Non-members have access for one year from the date of their last purchase of a qualifying distance learning product. Members of the Mortgage Bankers Association have access as long as they are members in good standing.

Once I enroll in a distance-learning course, how soon will I receive my username and password so I can start the course?

You always have access to the CampusMBA space and its full complement of tools and other free services. You use your username and password to gain access to the CampusMBA space. Access to the course you purchased will be given within two business days.

I am enrolled in a print-based course. Do I belong to CampusMBA? What would I do there?

Yes - all educational products including our famous print-based courses allow you to participate in our CampusMBA community. As a print-based course taker, you have the option of taking the final exam through the traditional, paper-based method, or via the CampusMBA online course space. Taking the exam online provides you with immediate feedback on your test and score. If you choose to take the exam online, you will receive your official results letter and Certificate of Completion by mail, typically within 7-10 days.

What is the Professional Development Transcript?

A record of your CampusMBA education and MBA event participation, the transcript details web-based, print-based, and classroom-based courses, as well as all MBA conferences and seminars for which you receive education and participation points. It even records MBA national committee participation.

How can I view my transcript?

Any MBA member company employee who has enrolled in a CampusMBA course, purchased a CampusMBA product, or attended an MBA event has been assigned a username and password to access CampusMBA. Any nonmember company employee who has enrolled in a CampusMBA course has also been assigned a username and password. The transcript is accessed by logging in to CampusMBA and clicking on the “Transcript” tab.

You should have a working username and password if:

If you work for a company that is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and have attended any MBA event or purchased an MBA product, of if you do not work for a member company but have taken a web-based or print-based course
