About Todd: Senior Vice President, Loan Production Manager of Arvest Mortgage Company leading the sales and production efforts of approximately 140 loan officers producing over $1 Billion dollars annually for the last 5 years. I have a passion for the industry twice serving as the President of Arkansas MBA and serving as President of NW Arkansas MBA. Currently serve on the Residential Loan Production Committee and MORPAC for the Mortgage Bankers Association. Beginning in October of 2007 I will begin a 3 year term on the Residential Board of Governors (RESBOG). Married to Debbie with 4 daughters.
CMB Motivation and Challenges: Will take Oral Exam on Sept 13, 2007 and graduate in October 2007. As someone with a passion for the industry and someone who chose this as a career more than 20 years ago I wanted to reach the highest level of achievement which is CMB. I feel it is my public display of commitment to my profession. Fear - The biggest hurdle was getting over the idea that I might fail the written exam which did not happen. This fear caused me to not take the test for over 2 years.
Importance: My boss I believe is the only active CMB in Arkansas therefore it is important to him that others of us reach this level as well. He also understands that this signifies our commitment to the industry.
