Jeffrey Briggs is a Senior Vice President and Alternative Credit Program Office Manager at SunTrust Mortgage, Inc. with over 25 years of servicing experience. Currently, SunTrust Mortgage originates loans through 125 locations in SunTrust markets and adjacent states. Jeff recently relocated to Richmond, VA from Oak Ridge, NC where he was an Executive Vice President and Director of Servicing Operations at Wendover Financial Services Corporation (an EDS Company) in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Jeff joined Wendover in December 1996 and assumed his role following completion of an extended assignment with the EDS Consulting Group. He was formerly an Executive Vice President of Centerbank Mortgage Company in Waterbury, Connecticut and prior to that, he was with Northeast Savings in Hartford as Senior Vice President.

Jeff is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and has served on their Board of Governors. He is also a past chairman of both the Servicing and Education Committees. He was recognized for his commitment to MBA's School of Mortgage Banking when he was awarded "Master Faculty" designation and continues to teach Servicing Portfolio Management at the school. Jeff is also active in industry leadership at the local level and has served as Committee Chairman and Director in mortgage banker associations in Ohio and Connecticut. He is a published author and frequent speaker on servicing related issues and has testified as a representative of the industry on critical industry issues to legislative committees at both the state and national level.

Jeff and his wife, Nancy, have three daughters and four granddaughters.
