Roger Brown is responsible for wholesale sales and development of the correspondent channel for Lydian Mortgage, formerly known as VirtualBank Mortgage.

Prior to this he was responsible for overseeing Wholesale and Correspondent Lending HSBC Mortgage Corp. (USA), which includes managing the wholesale sales function in purchasing loans from mortgage bankers and other financial institutions, as well as managing the origination of mortgage loans from brokers. Mr. Brown joined HSBC in 1995 as the Wholesale/Regional Retail Mortgage Manager.

Prior to joining HSBC, Mr. Brown was with Towne Mortgage Company in Sterling Heights, MI, overseeing the development of regional wholesale lending in the Midwest for origination of conforming and FHA products, as well as non-conforming loans.

Before joining Towne, Mr. Brown worked in various institutions such as Columbia First Bank, Chevy Chase F.S.B., Associates National Mortgage Corporation, and Foster Mortgage Corporation. He established and created Wholesale Lending Operations within these institutions. Previous to that he headed Retail production at Northeast Savings Bank, Managed a Wholesale Region for Empire of America and was Mortgage Director for Citibank NYS, NA.

He started his career as a Real Estate Broker with a Mortgage Banking arm in 1971.

Mr. Brown attended Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York.
