Dan Ferris is currently Senior Vice President, Western Regional Manager Correspondent Lending for American Home Mortgage. Previously he was Executive Vice President at Mann Financial, Inc., a cooperative net branch mortgage banking operation with offices in Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming. He was responsible for secondary marketing, the wholesale operation, and managed a retail branch in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan market place.

Mr. Ferris has been involved in mortgage banking since 1984 where he began his career as a processing secretary for Continental Mortgage (currently Home Street Bank). Prior to joining Mann Financial, Inc. he was Vice President of Bank United, FSB, and managed their wholesale office in the northwest. He joined Mann Financial, Inc. January 1, 1997.

Mr. Ferris has served as past chairman of the education committee for the Oregon Association of Mortgage Brokers and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Oregon Mortgage Lenders Association. For two years running, he has also served as the chairman of the RESBOG task force on Education for the MBA, which, in 2004, was approved by RESBOG as a full committee, which he still participates in.
