David E Frase
David E. Frase, Master CMB, AMP
Executive Vice President
Texas Capital Bank, N.A.

After graduating from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in 1986, Frase joined Criterion Financial Corporation in Dallas as a Management Trainee in Secondary Marketing. When Southmark Corporation purchased the company two years later, he moved over to Wholesale Lending as an in-house Account Liaison. Beginning in 1990, he established Secondary Marketing programs first at a mortgage brokerage and then at a Dallas commercial bank. In 1992, Frase represented Dallas-based Provident Bank in the purchase and sale of seasoned residential portfolios from various institutions. He assumed management of the bank's warehouse lending and mortgage production departments from 1993 until the Bank was sold in 1999. Frase joined startup Texas Capital Bank at the beginning of 2000 to launch a warehouse program that supports mortgage brokers who are ready to switch to mortgage banking. As Texas Capital swelled to $3 billion in assets, Frase's program contributed significantly to the Bank and to the mortgage community when hundreds of mortgage brokers have successfully converted to mortgage banking. Between speaking engagements and the challenges of building a national program, Frase resides in Dallas with his wife Gina and two children.
