Dave Pulford, CMB, AMP is the President and owner of Worthington Overlook Mortgage Consultants, LLC. Dave's company focuses on improving the efficiencies of mortgage banks and mortgage brokers, from the origination to delivery of loans to the secondary market.
He entered the mortgage industry in 1984 as a loan originator and has held management positions since 1986. He previously worked for Bank of America and Countrywide Home Loans as Regional Builder Manager, working exclusively with Builders. While employed by Sandy Spring Bank of Maryland, Dave was responsible for managing the Technology, Production and Construction Departments as well as re-engineering their process flows and the implementation of automated underwriting systems.
Education has been a major focus in his 20 years in the industry, training many originators, realtors and builders on the basics of mortgage finance. In 1998 Dave began the School of Mortgage Banking, attending the first videoconference class, and graduated with the last class of the 20th century, in July 1999. Dave now serves as a Faculty Fellow for the School of Mortgage Banking. He Graduated from SOMB in 1999 and has been a Certified Mortgage Banker since October 2000.
