Richard K. Juergens is the President of Phillips Realty Capital Bethesda, Maryland. He is responsible for day-to-day operations of the corporation, including production, lender relations, servicing, and training. Frank S. Phillips Mortgage Corporation consists of 18 individuals and generates an annual production of volume of approximately $400 million.
Prior to joining Frank S. Phillips, Dick was Chicago Regional Manager with Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Company. He is active with the Metropolitan Washington Mortgage Bankers Association, where he served as President in 1986 and on the Board of Directors from 1984 to 1987. He also chaired the Income Property Committee in 1982 and 1983 and has served on numerous other committees. He was awarded the "Commercial Banker of the Year" for 2000 by that organization.

Dick is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, and in 1998 received MBA's Master Faculty Fellow Award, given to instructors who dedicate unusual time and other resources to MBA's education programs. In addition to being a regular speaker at the School of Mortgage Banking (since 1985), he has taught a number of commercial real estate finance seminars for the MBA, including CREF Underwriting and Advanced Commercial Underwriting. In 1998 Dick served on the MBA's Educational Taskforce to select several universities for undergraduate degree programs in commercial banking and continues on that committee. In 1999-2000 he chaired the Income Property Education Committee and continues that in 2000-2001.

Dick holds a B.S. in Industrial Management from Purdue University.
