School of Mortgage Banking Graduation
On Friday, March 23, CampusMBA graduated 46 new Accredited Mortgage Professionals (AMPs) who completed the School of Mortgage Banking Course III in Miami, Florida.
The quality of the graduates - combined with the time, energy, and enthusiasm they invested in the class - was truly outstanding.
During the week, participants spent many additional hours, late into the evenings, working on group projects, the outcome
of which produced work of the highest standard. David Kittle, Vice Chairman of the MBA, was the keynote speaker at the graduation,
which coincided with his birthday. However, as Mr. Kittle indicated in his remarks, he would not have wanted to miss participating
in the graduation of such high-caliber and dedicated mortgage professionals.

CMB Profile

Tony Woodall, CMB Loan Officer Opteum Financial Services, LLC Bogart, GA
|
Tony Woodall has been in the mortgage industry for 21 years. He worked in technology as CIO of Opteum Financial Services,
LLC before deciding to go back into the sales field as a Loan Officer. Woodall earned his Residential CMB designation in October 2005.
What motivated you to become a CMB?
I love to build relationships, network, and help people achieve the American dream of homeownership. I recognized that the
CMB designation was the pinnacle of success in the industry and I strive to excel in all that I do. I wanted to have the recognition
of being an expert in the industry.
What challenges did you face in the process?
My biggest challenge was finding the time to study and attend the School of Mortgage Banking (SOMB). My company was very helpful
in doing what it took to help me achieve this goal.
You earned the CMB designation two years ago; how has it impacted your career?
The CMB designation has given me immediate credibility when talking with other members of the real estate finance industry.
It is a powerful tool to say that you are one of only a handful in the state and the country.
What advice do you have for someone thinking about pursuing the CMB designees?
Do It! Make the time to study, attend SOMB, network with the Society of CMBs, and find a dedicated sponsor that will help
you along the way.
