On Wednesday, July 21, President Barack Obama signed the most significant piece of financial services legislation since the Great Depression into law. The Dodd-Frank Act and its resulting new agencies, regulations, guidelines and studies will change many ways in which residential mortgage bankers, servicers and investors do business.
