Robert Taylor, CMB, AMP, is the CEO of Greater Nevada Mortgage services which is a wholly owned mortgage banking subsidiary of Greater Nevada Credit Union. He is responsible for implementing the strategic business plan, budgeting, and oversight of the mortgage banking operations.

He has held various lending, information technology, and management positions in banks, finance companies, and credit unions since 1983. Robert has been a board member of the Northern Nevada Mortgage Bankers Association, Citizens' for Affordable Housing, and the Charlie Mac Advisory Council. He also served as the Vice Chairman of the Carson City Bond Review Committee. He was the chief architect of the Nevada Credit Union Parity Provision, which was passed into law during the 2001 Nevada Legislative Session, allowing credit union's to own mortgage banking and other subsidiaries.

Robert has committed himself to a lifetime of education. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Nevada, Reno, and an Associate of Arts from Western Nevada Community College. He is a 1994 Graduate of Western CUNA Management School were he was elected class president. Robert is a 2005 graduate of the School of Mortgage Banking were he received the prestigious Willis Bryant award for outstanding academic achievement and exceptional leadership qualities. He received his CMB at the October 2005 MBA Annual Convention. Robert now periodically teaches at Campus MBA's School of Mortgage Banking I.
