This course is an introduction to Investor Reporting. In this overview, you will learn about the various reporting methods for the three largest investors: Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Ginnie Mae. You will also learn about other investors, including life insurance companies, real estate trusts, and other financial companies that provide mortgage financing.
This course will also discuss the particular reporting requirements for each of these investors. Private investors such life insurance companies and real estate trusts have different requirements than those specified by the government-sponsored enterprises Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
In addition, this course will introduce the most common investor-related terms. The course also includes some scenarios which depict investor situations which arise in the reporting process.
